Re: State of WOA and the community

This did not answer the question at all. Sure, donating is great, however, as a community site this forum is lacking engagement of any kind, and it's as good as dead as the posts with tutorials, information and faq's are outdated and new posts by users are usually not answered at all, or not exactly...

Re: Installation does not complete, 950XL

Ok, so I've been doing the same over and over since last time with no luck, so I just started doing random stuff, because that always works. So, I booted into the developer menu and chose the advanced menu, and somewhere in there there is some kind of delete all something choice, and because reason ...

Installation does not complete, 950XL

So, I tried doing the dual boot option, but was unable to do so because of the "Phone disk preparation failed. Cannot prepare the phone for the deployment" error I was having. (Discussed here https://www.woaproject.net/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=74). This apparently messed up my existing W10m installation...

Re: Phone disk preparation failed. Cannot prepare the phone for the deployment.

Tried using 2.5.2 instead of 2.6, and this fixed this particular issue. However, it looks like this ruined any chance of running a dual boot as I'm no longer able to boot the device into W10m as far as I can see.

Re: Phone disk preparation failed. Cannot prepare the phone for the deployment.

Actually, this messed up my device. The boot menu now gives med the option to boot W10 or the dev menu. However it does not boot, I see lots of text and then everything just stops. Not sure if this is W10M or W10ARM booting, I only see one. Also, going back to mass storage mode, I now fire WOA Deplo...

Re: WOA Deployer instruction

Space allocation: Dropdown allows you to keep W10M or remove it. If you want to keep it, the slider shows how much space to take from Data partition to allocate to WOA. So, the size to reserve for Windows option says how much of the 32GB internal storage minus OS partition or what ever can be used?...

Should be fixed with the 2.5.1 release!
I'm having this issue with V.2.6.

Re: Do you think we will see another Windows Phone

In the upcoming Surface release in October I imagine, at the end, when everyone thought they were finished, Panos goes like, "oh, I forgot something", and then reaches into his pocket... Now, since this is most likely nothing but a wet dream, the W10ARM on Lumia project just have to do. I refuse to ...

Updated step by steps needed

So, having three Lumias (1x950 and 2x950XL) I'm interested in this project. However, getting started is not as straight forward as one would like. It's not that I'm unable to find information, it's that the information I find tend to be either fragmented or outdated, or I'm not actually able to dete...
