Current status (working/not working)

Statistics
  • RX-127/RX-130 (Hapanero): 84% working
  • Lumia 950 XL (Cityman): 80% working
  • Lumia 950 (Talkman): 78% working
  • Jade Primo: 75% working
Hapanero (Any revision) (RX-130)
Working
  • WLAN - WiFi 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz
  • Touch - 5 fingers max, right click support
  • GPS - Requires an internet connection to download maps data on first run
  • Miracast - Receiving content, projecting content, may not work with some OEM laptops and receivers like on mobile
  • Bluetooth - Random disconnections may happen, Windows issue
  • NFC - Reading, writing
  • SD Card slot
  • eMMC - All brands including Samsung, runs at HS400 speeds
  • Battery - Charging, readings
  • Side buttons - Volume control, lock/unlock/power off, camera
  • Connected standby - S0 Network connected state
  • SoC Cores - All 8 cores except on prerelease SoCs, where the Cortex-A57 cluster isn't usable.
  • Display panel - Brightness control, color accuracy
  • USB - Plug detection, USB host/guest
  • Cellular - Data, Texts and Calls working for all supported bands, dual sim devices may have issues with APNs
  • FM Radio
  • Vibration motor
Partially working
  • GPU - ARM64, ARM32 Direct X support only for now, artefacts & UMD crashes too
  • Audio - Speaker volume is locked to 100%, some output frequencies do not play
  • Sensors - Compass, Inclinometer, Orientation (Absolute), SimpleOrientationSensor working. Ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, activity sensor, pedometer sensor, barometer sensor not working.

Thank you very much for the list. Maybe for the Not Working items a parenthesise can be placed, that the thing is being developed, other only planned.
What about 1.Telephony,i.e. making phone calls from WoA? It is more than Cellular Networking but
2. Do I get Windows system updates and Store UWP apps updates?

The list is so convincing, that I consider buying unused Lumia950xl, which is 250-350€ on Amazon.

I would definitely not recommend WoAoL as a daily driver ever-- it's really relegated to tinker status. If you want an Windows on ARM device to use as your daily, get a proper device.

Hi!, First of let me thank you guys for your great work so far, this project is simply amazing!
then to the question, is the 950 (non XL) going to get some more love in the future or are the focus only on the XL? it's completely understandable if the non XL isen't a priority, just wondering if I need to get myself an XL or if it's worth waiting for the 950 that I'll already got.. :)
