Does you phone get hot when the screen is off?

We all know that battery drain is an issue while in WOA. Is your phone too warm when the screen is idle EVEN with the GPU drivers installed?

My 950XL does not warm up when the screen is off, I turned off the updates, used to warm up and reboot often, now it seems to be normal.

For RX-130, it seems that doesn't go hot, because it's always hot I'm still using the old version of the drivers (version 1805).

For RX-130 EB1.0, it often goes BSOD/GSOD when screen is off, showing SDBUS error.

For RX-130s we switched to a new firmware with a working PMIC so it never gets hot now with the correct power profiles.
We'll share more once it's confirmed ready.

If you don't want to wait there's the driver repo on github, albeit without one thing (but perf is better without that missing thing too)
and there's imbushuo repos for arm32 bootshim and the UEFI for hapanero on azure pipelines

You have to use arm32 10586 firmware, and use bootshim with that uefi (in short) and use the Hapanero2 target on my repo.

Just change CPU max usage from power options.. It helps with the heat and doesn't affect the performance that much..
