I almost suspect that many of our members are spread all over the globe. Still, I would really be interested to know where you came from? And above all: How did you come up with the theme "Lumia on ARM"?

I come from the middle of Germany and live in a small village where I was probably the only Windows Phone user ;-)

I came from Telegram, I came from GitHub, reading from Twitter imbushio ;) , but I'm not a developer, just a fan of smartphones on Windows phone, and I am from Ukraine.

Maybe you can open api to let other developers join in the work. Or can you let the website become a PWA website ;) ?

I'm from Switzerland. Not a developer, just a fan of Microsoft products and working in IT, too.
Installation of WoA on my Lumia 950 XL worked fine, Dual Boot enabled.

I'm surprised that I'm both the first 'Merica post and of the amount of worldwide representation on this project.

I'm from Germany, from Stuttgart area to be exact. I used a Lumia 900 for two years and the reasoned concept of the system was always a pleasure. It is a shame what M$ did with the system. With Windows 10 Mobile they released a pretty unfinished system and destroyed any ambitions of Windows Phone. So i hope the WOA Project will save the future of Windows on phones.

Hello from Estonia.
My love for WP started with the Lumia 900. Today still using my 950XL for everything including work stuff. Luckily Waze, Teams, Skype for business etc still work for me. If they stop working then i might have to switch to Android but hopefully this doesn't happen anytime soon.

Waiting for when WOA can make phone calls, then i can to use my 950XL forever :D

Hello! I'm from Spain (a big fan of Windows Phone, moved due the WhatsApp ending).

I read some time ago about this project in Windows Central Forums, and now, I would like to give a new usage to my Lumia 950 instead of leaving it into a drawer.

Greetings!

USA, Indiana.

I'm not at all a fan of Windows Mobile. Can't stand the MetroUI. Despise the lack of comparable apps for my Android.

I like the Lumia 950 XL. It's generally a good device, even by today's standards. My ultimate goal is to get Linux working fine on the phone, as I heard about Debian being ran on it before Windows 10. And, since that was my goal before I ordered a PinePhone, I'd still like to try and see that happen.

Wow, it's great to see where you all come from. I am pleased that this forum has received such support. I want to expand the forum and have added a marketplace as well as a general Windows Phone / Windows 10 Mobile area.

Hi! I'm from Brazil. The moment I heard about the possibility of running a full W10 in Lumia 950XL, I became interested and started to look for this device again.
Luckily I found one unit for sell online, bought it for a very good price (less than $90) with all the original box and accessories, including extras like tempered glass screen protector, some protective cases, universal charger adapter etc.
And the device looks like it wasn`t used at all, it is conserved as new.
I`m very excited to try this and I just unlocked bootloader.
